Tsunarmi is a superbly natured stallion standing at approximately 14.1HH. His career has been very limited due to our work commitments. He has mostly been a pleasure hack with the exception of some local Agricultural Shows in which he constantly wins Champion Arabian Stallion or Colt as well as Supreme Arabian and Ridden Stallion. Tsunarmi has only been ridden in halter and has never required shoes. He has an unflappable nature and is a pleasure to handle. Having been ridden in groups, on his own and as a lead horse for lead-line students, he has always been a wonderful saddle horse. He is floated, ridden and paddocked along side, mares, geldings, other stallions and young stock all his life. His nature and incredible trainability together with his huge movement will not disappoint on viewing.

Tsunarmi is a very typey CMK Arabian Stallion and is one of only two Arabian Stallions sired by the late Fawley Samarai. He has lovely strait, strong legs and huge expressive paces. Tsunarmi has huge movement and an exceptional nature whether at home or out in public and has seemingly passed this nature to his progeny. Tsunarmi is a stunning chestnut with a flaxen mane and tail with large stockings up his legs that appears to pass thus far to his progeny.
Ishmael, the son of Abraham, was said to be a great herdsman and hunter who invented the bow and arrow and built the Ark of the Desert, made of acacia wood and plumes of the wild ostrich. The Angel Gabriel (JIBRAIL in Arabic) descended from Heaven to Earth while Ishmael was sleeping. Suddenly Ishmael awoke when a "wind-spout" whirled toward him and scorched the sand with its feet. Gabriel commanded the thundercloud to stop scattering dust and rain. The rain that gathered developed into a prancing, handsome creature that seemed to swallow up the ground. Hence, the Bedouins bestowed the name "Drinker of the Wind" to the first Arabian horse, whose name was KUHAYLAH.

The late Carl Raswan, who compiled the Raswan Index and Handbook for Arabian Breeders, preserved the story of how the first Arabian horse appeared among the Bedouin Arabians. This story has appeared in various forms, including publication in "The Kuhaylat," Volume 1, 1990.
